Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Hall Bower Athletic Club & Institute will be held at the Club on Saturday, 21st March 2020 at 8.00 pm.
All members are invited to attend this meeting at which there will be a summary of activities over the last year and a financial report. An agenda will be sent out via email about 10 days prior to the meeting.
The current committee will be dissolved at the meeting and an election held to select the new committee. A committee nomination list is now displayed in the Club and any member of at least 6 months standing can be nominated as long as they are proposed and seconded. Effective committee members should have a commitment to the Club, sufficient time to devote to the committee roles and responsibilities and the ability to listen and use the technology employed by the Club. The nomination list will remain up in the Club until the day before the AGM. The nominations will then be entered on a ballot sheet and votes cast at the meeting (sorry there are currently no arrangements for voting to take place outside the meeting).
It is hoped that all members will try to attend the AGM, as it is your chance to be involved in the management of your Club.
